Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in France's Puy-de-Domme on 8 August 1976. She was youngest child of four. Her parents were dentists and a teacher recognised and backed her love for theatre and drama at an early age, which was more important than a desire to be a primatologist due to her fascination with monkeys. A quick and successful start to success as well as a swift increase in recognition was a sign of her development as an actor. When she first began the acting profession, Tautou took part in Jeunes Premiers which was a French show on TV that focuses on talent sponsored by Canal+ in 1998. The program also awarded her the title of the title of Best Young Actress in the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. Tautou, who attended in the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris in her youth and enrolled in the school at an early age, has disavowed her Catholic childhood. The actress says she is not a Catholic. Apart from her acting career she is also pursuing modeling. She modelled of L'Oreal Mont Blanc, Chanel and was dubbed "The Chanel Muse". Her photography is also a hobby and she has recently displayed her work at the Arles festival, under the title Superficial. The focus of her photography is famous people, the media and press that scrutinised her following her emergence on the scene with Amelie. Additionally, there are numerous photographs of her self. Audrey Tautou's first big role, as Amelie Poulain's lead actor in Le Fabuleux d'Amelie, landed the actress international fame. Amelie has been a box office hit internationally and has been lauded at numerous award festivals around the globe. It remains the highest grossing French language film to be released in the US. In the following year, she appeared in British dramas like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things as well as Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long Sunday de Faancailles. Then Tautou moved to Hollywood to work in Hollywood, where Ron Howard directed the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code.
